The two, along with sorceress Triss Merigold, go in search of the kingslayer. After the interrogation, Roche decides that Geralt is innocent and aids him in escaping the prison. Geralt succeeded in escorting Foltest to his children, but an unknown assailant kills Foltest before disappearing, leaving Geralt the only suspect. Maria was not willing to give up the children, and Foltest waged a war to claim them.

Combat, for instance, is much more complex, with additions in the form of abilities to lay traps and aim and throw ranged weapons. Ive seen many other people on the internet had this problem but noone ever found a fix. i tried to follow the guy very close by and no way, also tried to go on my way and avoiding traps no way, tried to stay away a little from the other assassin and still nothing.
So in short i cannot proceed with the main storyline because of this bug, where ,whatever i do, still happen. I am following the other assassins exact footsteps, and yet the game seems to think I hitted a trap since it doesnt progress ahead. (ALWAYS avoiding the traps all around the floor), the dream ends and i get teleported back to Geralt, whom says to try again, when i get back into the dream the same bug and problem happen again, over and over.

I'm playing on PC obviously, and I am currently at the Necromantic ritual with Dehtmold part of the Assassins of Kings quest, just entered the "Blue Dream" killed the harpies and entered the "trap segment", where i have to follow the other assassin, after a few steps. I found a bug that seems to have made it totally impossible to continue the game.
